LEARNING CENTER
Your vault folder contains encrypted file contents and scrambled names. It can live locally, on an external drive, or inside a synchronized cloud folder.
Your password unlocks the vault on this device. VaultKind does not send that password to a cloud provider or online service.
Open, edit, and save files through the familiar virtual drive. Lock the vault when you are finished.
Project status and direction
Version 1.0.0 pre-release
VaultKind is not yet a production release. The public repository records the work, evidence, and remaining gates on the way to version 1.0.
Certification, signing, install, update, relocation, uninstall, and clean reinstall were proven with the isolated Store-path test.
Finish correctness, startup performance, accessibility, documentation, and the remaining native-shell polish.
Repeat keyboard, Narrator, DPI, package, provider, and external-vault retention checks against the exact candidate.
Submit the finished x64 package to Microsoft only after every release gate is closed.
