LEARNING CENTER
Your vault folder contains encrypted file contents and scrambled names. It can live locally, on an external drive, or inside a synchronized cloud folder.
Your password unlocks the vault on this device. VaultKind does not send that password to a cloud provider or online service.
Open, edit, and save files through the familiar virtual drive. Lock the vault when you are finished.
Project status and direction
Version 1.0.2 · Production release
The production release is Microsoft-certified, signed, publicly discoverable, and delivered through normal Store installation and updates.
VaultKind is publicly available as a free Microsoft-certified Windows application.
Installation, signing, updates, relocation, uninstall, reinstall, and external encrypted-vault retention were validated.
Monitor feedback, preserve vault compatibility, and ship bounded corrections through normal Store updates.
Evaluate future work carefully without weakening privacy, accessibility, or Cryptomator compatibility.
